Your IELTS test score is valid for 2 years.

You can retake the IELTS test as many times as you want, but your scores will be averaged together.

4. Minimum Score for IELTS

In order to get a study visa for Canada, you need to have a minimum score of 5.5 out of 9 in IELTS.

There are over 2.3 million IELTS test takers every year.

6. IELTS Preparation

It is advisable to prepare for the IELTS test at least 4-6 weeks before the test date.

The IELTS test is not difficult if you prepare well in advance.

The IELTS Test Fee for the test is CAD$285.

You can reschedule or cancel your IELTS test online free of charge up to 5 days before the test. If you cancel your test after this, there is a fee of CAD$50.

You can change the test date if you have a valid reason, but you will have to pay CAD$50.
